ELA

English Language Arts, a subject that teaches students how to communicate using language and other skills.

Science

The teaching and learning of science to school children, college students, or adults within the general public.

SEL/EF

"Social Emotional Learning," which refers to the process of teaching children and adults how to understand and manage their emotions, build positive relationships, set goals, show empathy for others, and make responsible decisions.

PBL

A teaching method that involves students working together on real-world projects. PBL is student-centered and encourages students to learn by doing.

Mathematics

the process of teaching and learning mathematical concepts, primarily focused on developing critical thinking, problem-solving skills, logical reasoning, and the ability to analyze data.

Sense of Place

Connecting learning to a specific geographic location and the experiences within it, fostering a sense of community, identity, and responsibility for the local environment.
